I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience was unacceptable. I have over 10 years of experience in the restaurant business, so I understand the difference between a restaurant simply being overwhelmed and one that is poorly managed. We came in on a Saturday, and the restaurant was not busy at all. We waited nearly 35 minutes just to be seated, despite watching our table sit cleaned and ready for approximately 20 minutes. Once we were finally seated, we waited another 20+ minutes, and no chef ever came to our table. At that point, we decided to leave. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing numerous employees standing around while customers were left waiting. The condition of the restroom was also disappointing and certainly didn’t help the overall impression. This wasn’t an issue of the restaurant being slammed or short on available tables. From what we observed, this was simply poor organization and poor management. When a restaurant isn’t busy and guests can spend nearly an hour between waiting for a table and then waiting for service without ever being served, something is seriously wrong with the operation.

Expensive food. Too much soy sauce. Barely any shrimp or steak for the price. Watch out they charge for the rice. You order steak and shrimp and then you have to pay extra for the rice. The so called veggies were just a bunch of cut carrots. Never coming back!

For the past four years, my husband and I have been loyal customers of Hayashi. I have celiac disease, which means I cannot safely consume regular soy sauce or teriyaki sauce because they contain wheat. To make it possible for me to eat here, we have brought our own gluten-free sauces. The restaurant has accommodated this for years without a single issue. Tonight, we brought two factory-sealed bottles of gluten-free soy sauce and gluten-free teriyaki sauce that we had just purchased. We even had the receipt with us. A staff member opened both bottles, then management came to our table and informed us they would not allow the chef to use them. I offered to show them the purchase receipt so they could see exactly where the sauces had come from and that they had just been purchased, but they showed no interest. Instead, they handed us our now-opened bottles back and told us they would not use them. At that point, after the way we had been treated, we no longer wanted to eat there and chose to leave. Went w my girlfriend and my parents, and got amazing dinner with a great chef. Rogelio is amazing at what he did, he kept the entire table happy and entertained and also full. The people next to us were regulars and always requested him, I saw why. Definitely coming back here again sometime, dinner was amazing everything ab it was so good

well dining here was a different experience it was interactive with the cook or chef if you might. for me it was dinner and a show and fun for my family and prices where very fare considering we had salmon, filete mignon and shrimp and the salmon was sushi grade and everything of course was fresh right out of griddle very family grade atmosphere and did i mention price was very good arround 150.00 for 4 people including drinks and for my is a very good dinner.
